Lately, I've been having issues trying to link my typepad account to twitter. I added my twitter account to typepad some time ago, and whenever I would try and link the accounts, typepad would either error our, saying they were addressing the issue, or no error at all (updates still not working).
My quick fix was to delete my twitter info on typepad and then create a new one. If you are having the same problems, I would try that first.
yo! are you still having issues with the linking? the updates weren't happening awhile ago because of the twitter outage. i believe there was a bug that was fixed around the number of characters passed from TP to twitter and how bit.ly truncates it.

I should probably change the title. I was having a problem in the TP account administration.
Account -> Other Accounts -> Twitter -> Enable Sharing. A TP error would display when trying to save. After deleting the twitter account info and re-entering, it worked just fine.
So, far the updates work great. I'm also stoked on the new version of TP. Great work!
On a side note, maybe you could suggest a solution to another issue I am having. When I create a new blog post, facebook and twitter both get updated. I also have my twitter account feeding facebook as well. So, facebook will post the same update twice.
I use a blackberry and have installed the TP app, but am unable to interact with my friends like update retransmits and replies.
meh, it's not really that big of a deal. I'm just lazy and don't want to use multiple clients.

I reached home today from work and as usual just scrawled through the various articles on various topics. But one article that made me read it is the one you wrote about. The topic that mentioned about has shattered me from within and now I know there is something like this. Thanks for awakening me like this.
